Birding in Phuket & the Ton Pariwat Wildlife Sanctuary - January 18-19 2006

Red-wattled LapwingBy Dave Williams.

57 of the birds listed below were seen in Phuket. The remainer were seen at Ton Pariwat Wildlife Sanctuary, except the Brown-winged Kingfisher which was seen at Ao Phang Nga National Park.

The birds seen at Ton Pariwat Wildlife Sanctuary were almost entirely seen from one special spot on the mountain. It was incredible, but not surprising as Ton Pariwat is quickly becoming one of the hottest birding spots in the South.
